The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra strives to “inspire and educate.” When it began in 1930, the original orchestra was made up of volunteer musicians. It became a professional orchestra seven years later. Today, the musicians are led by music director Krzysztof Urbanski. Urbanski is one of the world’s most acclaimed conductors and enjoys sharing his passion with others. Northwest Indiana Symphony 

Featuring 75 professional musicians, the Northwest Indiana Symphony works to expand interest in diverse music. Maestro Kirk Muspratt is one of the most outstanding figures in the new generation of conductors. Carmel Symphony Orchestra 

Founded in 1975, the Carmel Symphony Orchestra believes that music has the power to change lives. The musicians boast an eclectic repertoire and are committed to enhancing the community’s quality of life. The orchestra’s video library features dozens of performances and interviews with the music director and musicians. Hear the music of Jon Nakamatsu, Janna Hymes, Jeff Midkiff, and many other composers.
