Music and Meals at Fiddler’s Hearth

Fiddler’s Hearth in nearby South Bend is no different. It proudly represents the seven Celtic nations and boasts that it takes pride in emphasizing the true spirit of a public house. Menu

The food represents Celtic culture, and the chef prepares the meals using locally sourced ingredients when possible. Choices include items such as Irish lamb stew, classic Reuben sandwiches, and fish & chips. Additionally, Sundays at the Hearth include a breakfast buffet until 3pm and the “Sunday roast” special. The extensive menu has something for everyone along with a wide selection of beer and spirits.

 

Live Performances

Fiddler’s Hearth is also a great place to take in live music. The schedule is ongoing, with acoustic folk on Sundays, Irish sessions on Tuesdays and Celtic and Bluegrass on Saturdays. Check out the website for exact times and schedule.

Highland Reign (September 16) – Highland Reign is a progressive Scots-American folk rock band that brings down the house. They tour around the United States as well as across the pond, and The New York Times states “If you like your traditional Scottish and Irish songs with an edge, then Highland Reign is for you.”

 

Steve Foresman (September 22) – Steve Foresman’s career has included opening for groups such as The Beach Boys and REO Speedwagon. His vocal style is easily recognizable, and he entertains with a mixture of R&B, folk, rock, and classic country.

 

Kennedy’s Kitchen (October 27) – Kennedy’s Kitchen is a Celtic group that calls South Bend home. They focus on traditional Irish music and entertain audiences throughout the Midwest.
