Experience Culture at the Whiskey & Wildflowers Farmhouse Living Fair

Glass of whiskey and flower at the Whiskey & Wildflowers Farmhouse Living Fair.

Traditionally, October is a time for scary movies, Halloween parties, and candy binges. However, this year, you can put the spookiness aside for a weekend and experience some old-fashioned country vibes at the Whiskey & Wildflowers Farmhouse Living Fair, the largest farmhouse fair in the Midwest.

The Whiskey & Wildflowers Farmhouse Living Fair (October 11th to 13th)

This popular fair will be held at the Northern Indiana Event Center Pavilion in Elkhart. Visitors will have access to 1,000,000 sq. ft. of open-air grounds for the fall market celebration.

The three-day market will be offering the latest style trends in home, farm, and garden decor. You’ll find hundreds of items by local chefs, home interior designers, curators, and artists. On exhibition will be decor in a number of beguiling aesthetics, such as:

  • Farmhouse
  • French country
  • Cottage
  • Rustic
  • Coastal
  • Boho chic
  • Industrial
  • Country elegance
  • Holiday decor

Many of these designs will be on show at the Fringe and Fire Fashion Show. However, the fair isn’t just about modern looks. You can also discover items from previous eras, such as refurbished antique furniture, vintage goods, and salvaged metal.

Camping Opportunities

The fair makes room for camping aficionados to celebrate their favorite outdoor hobby. On-site camping areas will be equipped with electricity, water, and sewer systems.

Visitors can also take part in the vintage camper rally. Don’t miss the RV Hall of Fame during the three-day event, where you’ll see vintage and modern RVs on display.

Live Performers

Finally, if you’re just looking to have a good time, there are plenty of ways to do that, as well. The fair will feature live music and a Hoosier Food Fest dedicated to the cuisine of this great region.

The Whiskey & Wildflowers Farmhouse Living Fair is a pleasant and affordable way to relax on a fall weekend. If you’d like to camp on the grounds, you’ll only pay $129.95 plus a $9.54 fee. Your ticket entitles you to free admission to the fair and allows you to camp for three days on-site. Find more information about the fair, including how to become a vendor, at the Whiskey & Wildflowers website.
